At the heart of the company is a 24-hour state of the art Control Centre. Here, a range of services varying from incident reporting in the field, energy, machine and surveillance monitoring, are constantly managed in line with exacting British Standards. Martin Havenhand
Chairman
Martin was previously chief executive of Yorkshire Forward, the Regional Development Agency for Yorkshire and Humber. In addition to being the Chair of Advance Monitoring Solutions, Martin is also Chair of the Advance Group and several key businesses including NAMTEC, Sheffield City Region, Chair of the Fieldfare Trust and Executive Chair of the Yorkshire Steering Committe for 2012.
John Wilkins
Technical Director
John leads the development of innovative technical solutions that differentiate the group from market competitors. Applications of his technical expertise include the development of revolutionary surveillance technology and energy saving initiatives.
Tony Cockcroft
Commercial Director
Tony has a background in blue chip companies, holding senior operational and support roles in employment law and HR. Tony is responsible for the running of the commercial and financial departments of AMS.
John Lindley
Operations Director
John is based at the Barlborough Monitoring Centre and is responsible for the management of CCTV operations in the field and all on-site monitoring standards. He carries responsibility for all CCTV field installation crews and the relationship with customers during and after the period of installation.
Martin Spooner
Principal Engineer
Martin has immediate responsibility for the Breckland CCTV project. He has over 15 years experience in all sectors of security, from town centre to commercial, and during this period ran major urban CCTV installations.
Phil Jackson
Sales Manager
Phil graduated from Huddersfield University where he studied Engineering and Technology Management. Phil’s sales career began six years ago and during this time has developed in-depth CCTV knowledge.
Steve Clift
Sales Manager
Steve has over ten years experience in the security arena having worked for market leaders and securing major CCTV contracts. He has numerous contacts within police forces and local government across the UK.
Lynda Hutchinson
Client Liaison Manager
Lynda has been with Advance for two years and was formerly a Project Manager for six years with an international data company. Lynda now supports the Operations Director in a client liasion capacity.
Kerry Pharoah
PA to Directors
Kerry has been with Advance for eleven years since she left full time education. During this time she has been a valuable team member who has played a first hand role in the successful growth of the company.

Rob is based at the Barlborough Sales Office. He manages the public sector tender opportunities. Rob has worked in a variety of roles in local government and sales.
